HOW TO CHOOSE
KNIFE AND BLADES
The originators of the famous ‘Stanley knife’ now offer the most comprehensive range
with fixed, retractable and snap-off blades; knives that provide innovative features to meet
the demands of the professional builder and craftsman.
FIXED
BLADE KNIVES

replaceable blades.
These are designed for the
heaviest of applications. Although the
blade is fixed, the majority of Stanley
knives incorporate a rapid blade changing
mechanism.
9 mm SNAP-OFF
BLADE KNIVES
Ideal for cutting thin sheet
materials. The thinner 9 mm
Snap-off blade is ideal for thinner
more delicate sheet materials
and general cralt work.
CRAFT,
SPORTS
AND POCKET
KNIVES
A great new extended range.
Handy pocket, craft and sports
knives ideal for a wide variety of tasks.
RETRACTABLE
BLADE KNIVES
Suitable for the majority
of the replaceable blades.
These offer similar performance
to the fixed blade models and the blade
can be retracted safely into the handle when
not in use.
THE BEST BLADE
TO SUIT YOUR NEEDS
In addition to the general purpose blades
supplied with each Stanley knife, a new range
of application specific blades is also available.
These new blades are engineered to achieve
even better and longer lasting cutting
performance for their specific application.
SNAP-OFF
BLADE KNIVES
Ideal in situations where
residue sticks to the blade.
The snep-off blade offers
constant sharp edges, but is also
strong and thick enough to apply
heavy pressure without the blade
breaking.
Arange ofapplication specific blades is also
